Best Practices in Tobacco Control – South-East Asia Region

The Tobacco Epidemic is one of the most serious and fastest growing global public health concerns. In SEA Region, the problem is more complex and difficult compared to other parts of the world as tobacco is easily accessible and consumed in various forms.  The SEAR countries have been implementing tobacco control measures and have also formulated regulatory mechanisms to combat the growing menace.

The study is a collaborative effort between VHAI and WHO- SEARO to showcase promising practices in tobacco control which can not only be replicated by SEAR countries at the National and Sub National Level but can also serve as an important tool for all the stakeholders.
