Representatives from VHAI attended a two day ‘Northern Regional Workshop on Best Practices & Innovations from POSHAN Abhiyaan‘ organised by Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development on 25-26 November 2019 at The Claridges, Delhi. Smt. Smriti Irani, Hon’ble Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of India, inaugurated the first workshop of the series that aims to bring together multiple stakeholders to commit to accelerate progress to the common goal of malnutrition free India.
A panel was dedicated to the innovative approaches by states for POSHAN Abhiyaan. Representatives from the governments of Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Karnataka spoke about the challenges specific to their states and the best practices adopted to overcome them.
