VHAI in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India organized a National Webinar on “Depiction of Tobacco Imagery in On-Demand Streaming Platforms-Implications for India and Way Forward” with the objective to build understanding and knowledge of policies and laws regulating contents curated for OTT platforms and to help devise strategies for framing of comprehensive policies on regulation of tobacco imagery in OTT platforms.
The webinar was graced by an esteemed group of panellists from MoHFW, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Film fraternity, medical fraternity as well as Department of Education. It witnessed a participation of over 120 delegates from several public health organizations, medical associations and civil society organizations.
