Arogya’s mass awareness campaign with the National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh

People with pre-existing medical conditions like diabetes, hypertension and heart disease are vulnerable to become severely ill with the COVID-19 virus. These co-morbidities weaken the immune system and have adverse treatment outcomes. Hence, it is imperative that people with Diabetes and Hypertension are aware about the importance of following the ground rules like frequent hand washing, physical distancing etc. and strictly adhere to their existing diet, exercise, medication and blood pressure monitoring regime.

Arogya’s mass awareness campaign is an initiative of VHAI and LalPathLab foundation in close collaboration with the National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh to create awareness on impact of COVID-19 on patients with NCDs.
