Abstract
It is always the ability of an organisation to understand and adapt to the evolving developmental needs of the country’s neediest, that distinguishes it from the others. This ideology has been the driving force behind all the activities of Voluntary Health Association of India and has contributed in helping it emerge as a leading health & development organization of India.
The current publication is to embark VHAI’s 50 years long journey endeavoured to reach the underprivileged and improve the health and developmental scenario in India which was a cumulative effect of the interplay of a shared vision, cohesive policies and comprehensive programmes at the grassroots.
