A young Public Health Professional, Dr. Priyanka has a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery and post-graduation in Public Health from the Indian Institute of Health Management and Research, Jaipur. She is currently associated with VHAI as an Assistant Program Manager for Communicable Disease control program, Project Axshya, a Global Fund supported project through The Union South East Asia Office for TB Control. She has been closely working in coordination with the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) for TB Elimination under the project.

During five years of professional experience, she has worked in diverse areas like Nutrition, Non –Communicable and Communicable Diseases and Substance Abuse. Dr. Priyanka has been actively involved in training and capacity building activities and has trained NHM and ICDS staff at various levels. Apart from communicable diseases, Nutrition is her core area of interest for which she has also pursued a certification in Public Health Nutrition. Dr Priyanka was also selected as a Master Trainer for Nutrition during her tenure with TSU.

Her Research work includes, A quantitative research study in High Priority Districts of J&K under National Health Mission, to evaluate the service delivery and quality of Village Health and Nutrition Days and on Assessment of Knowledge, Attitude and Practices of Frontline workers such ANM, ASHA and AWW for Infant and Young Child feeding practices in High -Priority District of Uttar Pradesh.
